An introduction to business ownership succession planning, sponsored by the Addison County Economic Development Corporation and the Vermont Employee Ownership Center. Recorded Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at the Kennedy Brothers Co-working & Conference Center in Vergennes. In this seminar, attendees learn the basics of how to choose a path for ownership succession in their business. John Davis from the Williston office of Davis & Hodgdon Associates CPAs and Matt Cropp from the Vermont Employee Ownership Center give an overview of the business valuation process and the most common ownership transition models. The focus is on stories about each path, told by owners who have been involved in the sale of Vermont businesses.
