UVM Professor Emeritus Philip Ambrose illustrates the creative process of composer Johann Sebastian Bach in a talk at Ilsley Public Library in Middlebury, VT. In his talk, Ambrose shows how Bach translates Scripture and poetry into the formal musical language of the Baroque.
